Cotton Bottom Inn



Leprechauns have their pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, and the Salt Lake City, Cottonwood Canyons have their garlic burger at the end of the canyon. This quaint little dive bar is comfy and cozy. Everything a dive bar should be in my opinion.  Sorry young-ens, you need to be 21 to enter.  It is worth the years of waiting though!  I'm not sure if it was the full moon, the fact I'd been eating rabbit food ALL WEEK, or how hungry I was... But I inhaled that bad boy.

Our waitress was sweet, personable, and prompt with getting us situated and drinks.  She answered all of my questions and was very attentive - even though the place was bumpin. We went on a Sunday evening and were lucky enough to get the last open table with no wait!
Bun 4:5
I am in a never ending search for the perfect bun.  This is close, but still has room to grow.  I found out they get their buns (made out of french bread) from a local grocery store made fresh every morning.  It was A LOT of bun!  Soft, fresh, flaky, chewy, and was a perfect fit for the size patty.  It tasted like it was homemade and not processed - I just loved that.  Very original and filling!

The burger was absolutely HUGE! The garlic was as promised... Garlicky!  It paired nicely with the fluffy, chewy bun.  A dynamic duo to impregnate you with a food baby you will be proud to call your own.
Fixins/Sides 3:5
This is a dive bar we're talking about - simple, basic.  BOOM.  Ketchup, mustard, right there on the table.  The burger itself is cradled in shredded lettuce and creamy mayo - adding a nice crunch and texture.  You get a side of basic potato chips and a generous showering of pickles.  No muss, no fuss, and definitely no complaints from this girl!  I enjoyed the simplicity of the burger and thought it accentuated the garlic theme

DEFINITELY WORTH THE PRICE.  No regrets there, you get what you pay for and MORE. Definitely first blog post worthy!
